Until recently, all feminine rejuvenation procedures were surgical in nature and were done in order to correct vaginal laxity after childbirth or for other medical and aesthetic reasons. Now, new minimally or non-invasive techniques enable physicians to accomplish similar results without surgery. To talk about this novel development in medical aesthetics, Aesthetic TV host Stuart Brazell talks with David Matlock, M.D., a pioneer in the development of feminine rejuvenation procedures; Red M. Alinsod, M.D., a urogynecologist specializing in non-invasive feminine rejuvenation; and expert Shelena Lalji, M.D., an OB/GYN and wellness physician. Subjects discussed include safety and efficacy of such procedures and how some of these energy-based approaches work.
